Hotel Ipanema Beach - El Arenal (Mallorca)

The staff were super friendly and the place was really clean. Loved the food, especially the salad bar was huge! Pool area was nice with good vibes and lots of sunbeds. It's just a short walk to the beach, so that was a plus!

The staff was welcoming and positive, especially the bartender! It was clean and tidy for the most part. The breakfast was ok. The pool area was excellent My sister and me had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Our room were`nt completely clean when we arrived, there were a cap on the floor with some dust around it. And we noticed that there were rules to when the pool closed, but when it was used after that time (rather late) no one did follow up on that rule. It did`nt disturb us that much, but it sets an example.

the hotel's position was good really close to restaurants and eateries. the pool was nice and i had hot drinks in the english bar.

Consider asking for restaurant details, as there are good local dining options nearby that may not be highlighted by the hotel staff.

Hotel staff - great. Food - OK. Value for money - great. Comfort - good enough (fair ***). 17euros taxi to the airport on the weekend - good.

Had to walk about 8-10 minutes to the beach.

Big room, nice beds, good bathroom, and if you close the window there was no noise.

Breakfast - poor , Location was pretty far to the beach and the hill made it hard to get to the hotel. Also i booked a double bed the staff checked me and my gf into a twin room as they did with the other guests and they said there are no double beds so they lied about it. Check in was a nightmare..we arrived at 8 am and they did not check in anybody till 2 pm when there was a huge line about 30 persons that they were checking in

Stayed here before and I would definitely come back there. Had amazing stay in this pleasant hotel, the staff were amicable, location was handy in the bar or at the outside seating area. The breakfast was savoury, the food was outstanding, eggs, bangers and bacon available. In general the service was polite. Location: the venue was near to bus station to/feommthe airport, and the sea front.

Everything was very good. The food was decent with a good variety at dinner. Rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided. The terrace offered a nice view. A pleasant stay!

El Arenal where the hotel is located is everything that is bad about Spanish resorts, overcrowded and full of lager louts. Awful.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a nice area. It's close the port and the beach, but the road is a slope, so the way back is not so easy if you are carrying a lot of things. It's close (like 10 blocks) to the main party area in El Arenal, but is far enough so you can enjoy your rest. We didn't have any problem with noise at nights.

At breakfast they offer juices (very sweet in my opinion), and other beverages, but if you want water, you have to buy it on the bar (you may want water for your juice, since it's VERY sweet), I find that annoying, how come they don't offer plain water???, and more than a complaint, a suggestion: they clean the rooms at 8-9 am, so if you want to stay in bed until late, remember to hang the 'do not disturb' sign on the door.

Recommend for a fleeting stay.

Clean room, friendly staff, with a relaxing outdoor swimming pool area that was well-maintained and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the lively beach nearby, easily accessible through convenient transportation options from the hotel.

The hotel was good value for money, enjoyed the food. The staff were helpful. It was close to the bus stop for trips into Palma, and there were plenty of bars and shops nearby. The beach in Arenal is the best thing about the resort, with a great promenade for walking in the evenings. We had some really good coach trips, which saved us a lot of hassle driving the mountain roads.

Have to say I didn't really like the position of the hotel, after a few days, going up and down that steep hill was a bit of a pain, and we would be quite fit. Not for the elderly I,m afraid. Would have preferred a hotel closer to the beach.

Slow service in poolbar. Staff prefered to talk insted of working. The hotel is in the far end of arenal so be prépared to walk alot.
